Bystander, Suspect Killed In Crash Following Police Chase

I worked on the "city" side and we only did that one day a week. Now she wants it done EVERYDAY and to move the roll call locations to different areas so the public can see us. Now the questions......

will that not take the officers off the street as they will have to go by the division sometime to get their mail or other items that might be in the mail box?

How about information that needs to be given to the troops but is LE sensitive, if we are out and about and giving that to the troops someone might hear it that should not. Once again go back to the division to tell everyone.

HATS and BATS.......well no bats, and some might not know where their hats are.......

Daywork starts 0600-0700-0800 If you have the earlier roll calls, really who is going to be out there to see a roll call in public especially during the colder months.

there are ways to do a "formal" roll call but this is just going to the far end on every day. Things to look forward to.
