You have embarrassed yourself and it is not fixable. You cannot admit to being a 20 year veteran of the LMPD while asserting that Louisville does not have gangs. Your credibility is now shot and no one, I mean no one associated with law enforcement will take you seriously again. Where did you work exactly? What were your duties? Obviously you never left whatever building it was you reported to for shift or you simply don't have the wherewithal or ability to be even a half decent police officer. I don't know if I should laugh or cry. If you truly have twenty years on and truly believe Louisville doesn't have a gang problem then I'm begging you to hang it up and retire.

Here's the question, what would indicate a "gang" to you? Following the legal definition in Kentucky law, there are plenty of groups that qualify.
