Video appears to show LMPD officer striking man with flashlight

Uhhhh take someone to the ground??? Obviously you know nothing about Officer safety. The ground my friend is the LAST place you want to be when you are the Police and in a fight. The jail guards may have this luxury in the booking area where it is a more controlled environment (still stupid) but the Police do not. If they train you in the academy to do this then they are training you to get hurt or even killed.
