Police Chief White talks about firing of Officer Hollingsworth

I don't necessarily think he "cares" about public safety, but I do think he's going to be a little more aware of the press issues that are arising - since he isn't going to get the free pass that JA has gotten over the years. He does not want to start off his term with these questions. I suspect that he is only now becoming aware of the complexity of the job - his campaign was so focused on economic issues that I truly wonder how great of an appreciation he has for everything else.

Fischer never said he would keep Chief White in his release, he said he and his team would evaluate his performance and go from there. The guy's not even in office yet, Give the New Mayor a chance, you are already knocking him when he's not even in office to change things. I dont think he's going to be anything like Jerry Abramson. Give the man a chance before you cast stones.
