Police Chief White talks about firing of Officer Hollingsworth

Riiiiight. It couldn't possibly be the actions of a police chief who's now looking over his shoulder, could it? Especially when he's seemingly been prone to supporting 'administrative' type officers when ignoring and not supporting the actual 'in the trenches' folks? Nah. Must be coincidence.

And for what it's worth, I'm not in LE, but I do live/work here, so I consider myself at least peripherally affected by his decisions and actions. I continually feel sorry for the officers in the LMPD for having him as their boss. Please don't forget that a lot of us every-day folks do still support our PD (the men and women out on the street, at the very least).

I often do not agree with White but on this one he is absolutely 100% correct to fire this thief. I only wish it could have been a long time ago.

Glad to see Buckner is going to be a new Lt. Col. and Gibson a Lt. Col. (I have never spoke to the guy). Robison will be a new actual Asst. Chief of Police. Looks like the new Majors will be Kelly Jones to the third, Kristo to the second, Wardrip to the first...Then Kraesig to the 4th, Green to the 5th, Pitc0(K to IA, Ray to CIS, Smith to training and Greenwood to Special ops. Lets see if my crystal ball is close...

If good ol Jer was still going to be mayor Hollingsworth would still have a job. Again I say Fischer is not going to put up with White's crap and the way he runs the dept. About time we get a mayor who will look at this mess White's made and make him clean it up. How does it fell to have your reins pulled in.

you are wrong. Fischer stated during the election that he was going to keep the chief. That was a main difference between him and Heiner.
