She was drunk and assaulted a fellow officer (felony) F U C K HER

Hence the issues with the department - that someone would think it is OK and to "turn the other cheek" when a probie does something stupid like this. Do you really want this person backing you up - or dragging YOU into a mess because of her silly behavior? I don't know what precipitated the fight - although another poster suggests she actually interfered with an arrest of a third person - but it doesn't matter, if a non-cop would have been arrested for the behavior, she should have been arrested too. And then, fired.

Truth be told, I expect there were indications of this in the academy but she was passed anyway because they aren't supposed to wash out anyone.
