I don't know, they sounded pretty clear on the difference, the problem is, I don't think McCartney was very clear on his job. What was all the interest in her love life? How was that relevant? I am assuming that all the quotes are accurate, otherwise, I assume that the PTB will point that out quickly. If they don't, it is admitting that it is accurate. It sounded like he was the one bouncing around. How do you investigate a complaint and never talk to the complainant? If they had, they would have known about the other cases. Just lousy investigation .... sorry, he's a nice enough guy, but it is true.

Garrity applies when a public employee is going to be questioned about something that might be incriminating. Why would ANY cop talk to PIU in the first place? PSU should be the agency using Garrity, but I don't think the LMPD investigators understand that. PIU should never be using Garrity, since the whole point of PIU is to find any crime that exists, right? That's the problem with the whole, effed-up system at LMPD. If someone reads you your rights and doesn't offer Garrity, SHUT THE F UP !!!
