Massive Jefferson District court reorganization proposed

Stand the test of court??????? Now that's funny my friend. I hope you're making a joke, if not then you and I have been visiting different court houses. I go to the one in Jefferson County Kentucky, you? Assuming you're not trying to be funny, it sounds as though you read that from a book. If so, did that book have a section about actually punishing people for crimes? I bet myself and the other Officers on this site could spend days describing 'Air tight' cases that were either dismissed or amended down to Jaywalking 6th degree. Why? Not because the citation wasn't written correctly, because our judicial system in Jefferson County is a JOKE!!!!!! Juvenile and Adult..........'hypothetical example'.......subject drives out of housing project in vehicle with no license plate. After stopping vehicle Officers approach and a strong odor of MJ is coming from vehicle. Only one male subject is in the vehicle. Subject is removed from vehicle and while speaking with him it's revealed that he has no drivers' license and it is his girlfriends car. Subject also tells officers nothing illegal is in the car and gives permission to search. Officers find one baggy of MJ in the glove box, and a fully loaded handgun in the backseat of the vehicle stuffed into an armrest. The gun is found to be a stolen Louisville Police Dept (retired) hangun........Now, since this should be NO PROBLEM, tell me what charges the subject should have received, and how you think this stood up to the 'test of the court'?......if it were a real case that is.............
