Well, since there's a one year time limt for beginning prosecution for misdemeanors, and no time limit for felonies - I'm going to make a couple of guesses:
1 - You don't live in Kentucky, and your state has different limitations.
2 - You're speaking of federal limitations on prosecutions, something I admittingly know nothing about.
3 - You're full of crap, and have NO idea what you're talking about.
4 - Someone gave you bad information, and you didn't bother researching it yourself, and are now screwed if the prosecution was for a ,misdemeanor offense and it's been more than a year.
Personally, I pick "3". Anyone else?
