Skimming the surface on problems in Metro GovernmentAre we seeing only the tip of the iceberg? |
RE: Skimming the surface on problems in Metro Government
Unless you spend most of your shift keyed up with a stuck mic (or have verbal diarrhea and can't shut up) you have nothing to worry about in respect to the antenna and different types of radiation from it. That antenna is only emitting minute radiation when transmitting. The recieving throughout the shift poses no threat to you - these signals are in the air whether you had your radio with you or not. If the receiving signals (broadcast from the radio room's tower) were so strong as to be a threat, then all of Jefferson County would be at risk and the FCC wouldn't have licensed its use. Hope this makes sense.

You are more likely to get killed in a car wreck on your way to work. Now there is something to worry about.
