Actually, the Circuit Court IS the next line of appeal, for them, that's where you appeal decisions of the regulatory agency. This won't be over quick, but it will be important to keep it before the public, reminding them that the FFs still don't have THEIR money, and their appeals have all been exhausted.

Anyone but me paying attention to the CJ blogs on the subject?

I am one of those who gave up the car. I paid for it until a couple of months ago even though I live in Indiana and gained nothing from paying for it. I supported the "cause" because I was told it was only going to be for a couple of months. If you can do without $100.00 a month and gain nothing from it let me know. Some officers did what they had to do for the situation they were in. Tell me honestly, would you have paid the fee eventhough you lived out of county and gained NOTHING from the use of the vehicle outside of work?

I paid the fee and I live outside the county. I could not afford to lose 100 bucks a month, however it would have cost me just as much or more to drive my personal vehicle. I am of the mind that we should have all stuck together in unison, I do understand situations are different, but it's called SACRIFICE. Our department is far beyond being a cohesive unit of people out for the same goal. We are a bunch of individuals who "some of us" come together in a time or crisis but otherwise stay solitude. You know what that reminds me of? Oh yeah, AMERICA! Just a bunch of people out for themselves who sacrifice nothing and only ******** when the problem effects their personal existance. Either be a part of the team and sacrifice with the rest of us, or shut the hell up and go hide in the corner. I will stand and fight until my last breath for something I believe in. Will you? Yeeee Hawww buck-a-roos! Now go en kiss yer sister you bunch of inbread honkeys! {;-)

My dh gave up his car because we live outside the county. Honestly we are glad the mayor lost on this one and the FOP won (great job by the FOP by the way). However, we don't get ANY benefit from the car at all. We would rather see the cars go and health insurance kept low and a nice raise to compensate for the fact that the cars have always been a bargaining chip to keep salaries lower than they should be.

So... tell me... are you willing to give up the cars in the next contract to keep other things reasonable for everyone? What? No unity with your fellow brothers and sisters? The cars are a liability to us all now because it will end up hurting every other part of the contract. My bet is that you will also pull for what is best for your family and in your case that is probably the cars.

FYI - many people who "gave up" their cars kept the same cars but just kept them parked at the division. Gear was not required to be hauled around in a personal car.

Some of you guys fall for it every time. Someone posts something up on here that is guaranteed to make you mad and you start flaming each other. Ignore it. If the prisoner in the backseat of your car is insulting you and calling you names are you gonna stop the car and start screaming at him? Remember that the department weanies post stuff on here too just to get your goat.

Week need sisters!!!! Hey dumb a## some of us live out of the county and it would be stupid to stay in that program!! This FOP and department has a proven track record of not standing together on anything so 50 people took a stand for what they believed in and told the chief and Mayor were we stood. Want to read the e-mail I sent because I will share. You are probally one of the guys scared to get out of your car and be the police. I stood right with my partners that decided to hang in there till this ruling came down. If I remember the room was divided so what makes you better than me. you don't pay my bills or feed my family so keep your opion to yourself when it comes to other officers making a decisions we us SISTERS stood more to loose that you by the chance on not getting a car back ever. I will be happy to discuss this personely if you would like. I bet you have really done alot in your carreer.

Sincerly,

Jimmy Adams
