you really speak good of yourself when you put in that it is easy money as that is the real reason why you are upset. It is not that you cannot "follow thru" a speeding ticket in court. You cannot really think that the other officers on this posting believe that you are that concerned about a traffic ticket. It is only about the money and nothing more. It is our job to charge those who violate the law, it is the prosecutors job to take it to court and get a conviction. Before you chastise me I have 20 plus years in police work (over 15 here in LMPD) and really don't care if I go to court or not. I arrest and cite as needed and let my narratives stand on their own until I am needed.
