first off this isn't a FOP issue, it is a department issue. The department has a call in line if someone is going to miss court for that day. It goes into a recorder and there is a Sgt in charge of letting the courts know. That is set us by the department. Then we can get into the paperwork (continuance sheet) that the officers fill out when there is advance notice that they are not going to be there. That is sent into the court thru the department.

Now lets get into how you are an officer elsewhere in KY. That is just great but if you are not here don't talk about a system you have no idea about. The officers here fill out the same paperwork (citations) as you do for court. Just because our court system is screwed up doesn't reflect that the officers should write a better narative to give the pc for court. Get off you soap box on how you are so much better then the officers here because you forsee problems with your own court and take care of them. Hell, you probably are only in court once at week (AT MOST) compaired to alot of the officers here being in court 3 or more times a week.
