Can't answer that. There is not enough info out yet. I would say they would say no and that they probably haven;t thought out every scenario like you have just done.
RE: Enough is Enough!
I see alot of comments about giving up the cars but I know in my heart that this will not come to pass. There will be very few who actually give up the ride and they will make excuses on why they can't. I live out of county and as stated will not pay any more "just in case I want to drive my car while in Jefferson County". I am not being negative on purpose but know that people have been pi$$ed off in the past and threatened to let jerry have the cars but few did.
RE: Enough is Enough!
No, if you opt out of the take home program, then you do not get to use a car for off duty employment
RE: Enough is Enough!
I was told that if you give up your car you cannot use one for off duty work. I also live outside of the county and I only drive the car on duty and to court. I have one off duty job i go to and will have to see if its worth keeping. i figure i would need 39 court pays to pay for not using the car off duty. I AM GOING TO WRITE TICKTETS LIKE CRAZY, I USUALLY ONLY WRITE PEOPLE IF THEY ARE GOING 15 OVER, NOW ITS GOING TO BE 10 MAYBE LESS.
ONLY 5 YEARS UNTILL I CAN LEVE THSI MESS, MAYBE SOONER.
