LMPD union considering taking city to court over pay raise they haven't received

Man all the negative vibes! Dude if you would have used your crystal ball and told the negotiating committee that during negotiations then all they would have had to have done was sit back and wait. I have found that politicians are pretty good about saying after the fact stuff, but not so good at committing beforehand.

We can thank our members and our metro council for getting the ball rolling on this though.

It certainly is nice to hear that the council supports us now that the contract is a done deal; where was all that support during the 12+ months our FOP was negotiating the contract? It seems to me that it is mighty easy to express solidarity and support after the fact when it was consipcuously absent when it might have helped us. If the Council wants to do something useful, they, each and every one of them, need to do everything they legally can to reduce jerrys power in our wonderful metro.

Only council member I saw reaching out to us and the FOP is Doug Hawkins. It seems most of the others are on Jerry's side
