I meant why would a sgt. go to a suspect (maj) and say hey you need to stop doing what ever it is you are doing? The sgt if he wanted to be a C/O should have treated this like anyone else being accused of something. This could have gone 2 ways either "tip"" the suspect off or investigate it more than pass all the imfo to public integrity or PSU.
