I am glad that someone finally shows some respect for the family, I'm one of Jimmy's daughters....and I have been keeping up with this message board. I'm amazed at the lack of respect and how this situation has the police department divided. I hate the publicity that this is getting because everyone is so insensitive to our family. If I get another phone call from someone I hardly even know asking me about it, I'm going to lose my mind. It is no one else's business, really. I can honestly say that this whole situation has made me suspicious of everyone outside of my family. To be close to someone for so long who isn't even technically family anymore and then have them completely turn on you and disrespect those close to you...it's not fun. It makes you feel incredibly dumb and naive. I can't see myself getting over this situation any time soon.

But, thanks again for thinking of us...we really do appreciate it, and I mean that!

I mostly agree with what you said minus the oxymoron of it's a "personal, work matter". it's either personal or it's a work matter and unfortunately, when you bring something "personal" to "work", it becomes everybody's business. It's the nature of the field we're in.

Most importantly, I think everyone on this page is guilty, even those defending and arguing Jimmy's side. People keep saying "I know Jimmy and his kids and Debbi is awful and they've told me what she did" is just as bad as those bashing Jimmy altogether. If you're his friend, do you think he wants you here telling his business even more?? Or talking about his current girlfriend?? Wow, some friends you guys are. Now, defending the point of this hurting his children is the only legitimate argument to make. otherwise, shut your mouth along with everyone else because everyone here has said way too much about these people that we all supposedly call our "friends".
