Shut Up! The story was in a public newspaper (the CJ) so its fair game. Don't be an idiot if you don't want your life talked abut on here.

You are right and you are wrong. Officers are extremely frank with each other. It is the nature of the beast. It is what happens when you put 1300 A-type personalities together. There is going to be some in-fighting. There are a handful of officers that I cannot stand, but I would risk my life to protect them. Weird huh?

I would much rather have someone tell me what they think instead of lying to me. Honesty can be harsh. But it is real.

Yeah, it does kind of matter if he is guilty - since his guilt paints all of us. But I'm willing to wait until a REAL investigation either supports the allegations against him, or clears it. And a rushed, two week "investigation" - without even waiting for the records from the phone company - isn't a real investigation. And most citizens of Louisville know that - and that makes it look even worse, it makes it obvious that there is a cover-up of some type. (Or, at the least, an incomplete, pre-decided investigation.)

I do suspect the powers that be didn't even realize that his ex worked in that division - why would they? Different last name - how long have they been divorced? The front office folks don't know the line troops, we all know that, I doubt anyone up there even realized that - oh, wait, Officer Minnear used to be married to Major Harper, right - let's not put him there. (And isn't there a Sheriff's Dept. Major named Minnear?)
