You wanna knock the police but who are you calling when you are being burglarized, or worse? You may think the police look bad hanging out at Thortons drinking coffee, but you never no that police officer's presence may very well save your damn life or the life of someone you love. So how in the hell can you talk about officers in a manner as if they are scum? You are scum! Do you feel uncomfortable around police officer's presence because you have something to hide? Maybe you are one of those criminals I need to worry about. You could be some angry weirdo that tried to get hired on the police department but didn't because you are crazy or an idiot.

I would love to see your reaction if someone refused to give you a raise for years, especially when people are losing their homes, and the cost of daily living is increasing daily! You may think $2.00 a day is nothing but I am here to tell you, that may be the money one police officer uses to pay for his/her child's lunch money everyday. That money isn't coming out of your pocket so sure, it's easy for you to say police officers are over reacting. Have you ever worked in a hostile environment caused by a boss or person with significant power that can make life difficult when he/she doesn't get their way? Well that's what Jerry is, unfortunately the media never covers this aspect of Jerry's true side. I am one civilian who sees the "true Jerry".

I just want to say I APPRECIATE the police and think they are doing a FINE job! I don't think they are getting the credit they deserve. Thank you police officers! (Just please don't give me a ticket if you pull me over, I will confess to this post ha ha ha).

This just isn't over the $60.00 per month. It's about a mean and evil mayor who spends money on his stupid desires and not what's in the best interest of the city. Jerry must need that $60.00 per month from each officer who works off duty to pay for his lovely office remodel job of $200,000.00. He may also need that $60.00 per month to pay the firemen for all the overtime he screwed them out of. Could he need that money to pay for the ridiculous granite curbs downtown? Gees I could go on anyday, and there is no point, being that you are obviously ignorant!
