The Police Tax

I have sent emails to John Mcguire and he hasnt even returned them. Never defends us on the news who side is he on? Whats up with the FOP. I have paid into this (invested) my money for nothing. I think I would be better off to use the money to pay my own bills and how much does he recieve a month? Add it up 18 years of nothing. Dont take the job if you cant handle it. Every one should resign from the FOP and hire a private negotiator for our contract. How far can we be pushed!

I believe everyone is forgetting why they became police officers to begin with. Take a look around at the job situation with companies like GM and Ford. We have a guaranteed retirement plan, health care, the use of a company car (paying for some gas should be tax deductable), and protection from layoffs. Yes, it would be nice to have the contract settled, but considering the way the FOP took sides in the election can you really blame the mayor for not quickly settling the contract. We should take a lesson from the last election and stop making endorsements.

Look at KSP. No off duty, and no use of the car off duty.

One last bit, airing this garbage on the internet will make us all look like idiots once some reporter decides to start broadcasting the comments made on this site.
