LANDSLIDE VICTORY! |
RE: LANDSLIDE VICTORY!
Yes, I do think LMPD (and other policing agencies) think he is the only game in town, and he isn't. At the very least, keep him for legal response and get a real contract negotiator. Since I assume Miller charges by the hour, and not by results, what is HIS incentive to get a contract?
What, truly, is the incentive for ML to give you a contract, if you can just go forever without one with no penalty?

Alright boys and girls here is the deal....it is up to you to contact your council person and educate them to our situation. I spoke to one the other day and they thought we had already reached a settlement, so they are being told a bunch of lies. We need to have a minimum of a 3% cost of living increase every year and a raise on top of that. We ask for a raise and in fact we don't even get a cost of living increase which nearly eveyone in the real world gets. The mayor can give his staff raises and put large amount of money in the chiefs 401K but they cannot find money for us? $45 million to help with museum plaza.....0% for police, try to get a new huge tax for the libraries approx. $48 million......0% for police and most other city employees.....it is time to pay up and stop all of this stupid spending by local government.
