Those worthy applicants should consider themselves lucky they weren't hired. They'd be better off working someplace that doesn't hate its police and charge them if they try to defend themselves from being murdered. If Louisville wants Jerry Abramson working for them after next year, then they deserve the kind of crime-ridden city that he and White are creating for them.

Problem is, guys, a college degree doesn't really get you any more money in the private sector - most folks I know just out of college are making around 22K, at most. It's getting to be the equivalent of a HS diploma 20 years ago.
