RE: Jefferson County Deputy Sherrif Attacked, Firearm Stolen
Unfortuantely this is the fault of the upper command od LMPD and not the fault of the officers. It is hard to fight crime with both hands tied behind your back and a knife held to your throat.
A new mayor + A new Police Chief = less crime

dear monday morning quarterback, if you were at the scene, you would know that the investigation was taken by the S.O.
that would mean that their internal affairs would be handling this and would be collecting evidence. and by your lengthy experience, what physical evidence could be collected from a fight that happened on a paved sidewalk?? lmpd and the deputies did walk the scene and the surrounding area looking for evidence. hey genius, how about that both canvassed the surrounding houses looking for witnesses and got names? wow, someone actually did police work but as usual, some jackass with all the answers and thinks that they know it all just fills in the blanks with their own conceit. typical.
