Would Be Fugitive Caught On Tape In Local Court Room

Unfortunately, as long as LMPD thinks that they are somehow "better" than every other cop in Kentucky, the division will continue. The Lynch funeral was the first time I'd seen Louisville show up in significant numbers at an LE funeral, and I've been to almost every funeral involving LE in the last five years in Kentucky. In most cases, there are, at best, maybe a couple of LPD/JCPD/LMPD officers. Why? Does your agency refuse to let you take the car? (And I don't want to hear, they won't let us go on the clock, MOST attendees aren't on the clock, they go on their own.) I have never seen an LMPD contingent at the Memorial service held for ALL LE in Kentucky, even though one of YOUR own was added to the memorial this year. Only Col. Winstead-Whatever was there this year, that's it, to accept the flag for him. That's embarassing. I wonder how many will make time to attend next year. Until LMPD accepts other officers as equals, there will always be the division.
