Unfortunately yes - how about this, every cop that works a U of L game should NOT be invited to work any other off duty that other officers control. What would they do if NO cops in the county would agree to work at U of L games?

VOTE WITH YOUR FEET, guys, there's plenty of off-duty out there. Show U of L what is important to you - and as long as you take their money, they will know that you are just blowing off - and that you don't mean what you say.

LMPD has the contract for U of L athletics. If you boycott, who loses? Not the whole University, just ULPD as they would not be able to handle the games by themselves as they are a small department, there would be problems, and you would take the chance of getting one of the officers hurt, then how would you feel? Would you come tot he hospital or the funeral to tell the family how sorry you were because you let some punk racist kid stand in your way of being back up for this officer? I would not want to be in your shoes if this happens.
