Being a police officer requires one to be present and get the job done, particularly at inconvenient times. It doesn't always suit one's schedule. Perhaps you should have let everyone know at your hiring interview you would only be available certain times. It may have saved you some heartache.I am sure this week's details will be a problem for you. I guess it was pretty inconsiderate of this man to die and need you on your off time.I feel certain he would have picked a different day had he known you were off.Oh the humanity of it all.
