Metro Council members offer plan to reduce LG&E fee for new police officers

We can't even maintain authorized strength! This is another revenue stream that will never end. City leaders have forgotten their basic function and that is safety and protection of its citizens. There is sufficent funds in the budget to do this the problem is all the bike lanes, ribbon cutting, tax payer funds for business, and other vote getting spending. Enough is enough tax and spend is killing the average taxpayer in this city. Don't even get me started about MSD, Water Company, Jefferson County Public Schools. Absolutely no oversight on how tax payer money is spent.
