Metro Council members offer plan to reduce LG&E fee for new police officers

Really? Who cares. Boring. Yawn.

Most of those voluntarily going to the quieter suburbs are not doing so to keep up the pace of a high crime beat. Its a mistake to assume there isn't crime going on in the east end, but a lot of it's not as easy for a patrol officer to find by driving around and making stops. That's where the stat-driven approach falls flat on its stupid face.
