Well, most other people that "have a car" owned by the company aren't permitted to drive it around for normal use. I do, in fact, occasionally have a work vehicle in my possession, and even though I'm not a sworn officer, we have been specifically told that yes, we ARE expected to stop and aid anyone that needs help and not just drive by, to the best of our ability.
