The taxes are the same. I lived out of county, then moved into the county, then 2 years later moved back out of the county.

The metro government labels the tax as:

Metro: In county

Jeffco: out of county

They are identical in the amount of taxes taken from the paycheck. The simply put a different name on it.

Jefferson county residents pay no more in income taxes than someone living in Bullit county but working in Jefferson.

And if you do not own your own Home you do not pay property tax either, so you contribute no more.

So yeah, we pay the same taxes too.

No take home car. If you live out of county the car stays in county and the gas card is used to fillup and mmake runs to homes with people like you who know everything.

Hey genius, non Jefferson County residents don't get to take home that "tax funded" car or gas card. So now what?
