Haha. Agreed, he doesn't deserve a pay day, just because the officers aren't psychic. He wasn't wearing a sign that said "I have a TBI". I would venture to say that most officers would handle this situation similarly. They did not use force (minimum at that) on this gentleman until he posed a resistance. Once they investigated further, they made the correct decision and released him. How many of us would have done it better? I guess it's easy to criticize from the cheap seats.

No issue at all with JCSO or the Sheriff. My issue was with the completely out of context comment about the Sheriff being in the Army and about his rank while in the Army. It has absolutely no relevance to the discussion at hand. It would be akin to me saying “It’s too bad that soldier was injured and has a TBI. I sure do like hotdogs”. Not related topics.
