Former Louisville Metro Police Chief Robert White's son will not spend any time in jail.
On Monday morning Robert White III was sentenced to spend the next five years on probation as part of a diversion program.
He was accused of hitting and threatening to kill his wife in October.
In January White pleaded guilty to assault and wanton endangerment charges.
His father, Chief Robert White is now the chief of the Denver Police Department.
