A judge has strong words for the son of Louisville's police chief.

"If you cross the line so much as a hair I will have no problem picking you up and you will stay in jail and I will bump the bond up as high as I can to assure that you do not get another opportunity," says Judge Stephanie Pearce Burke of the Jefferson District Court.

Robert C. White was back in court this morning. He was arrested earlier this month after police say he repeatedly beat his wife, and threatened to kill her and her family.

The judge agreed to lower his bond from $50,000 to $10,000. White will then be released to a substance abuse program.

The judge warned White that if he doesn't comply, he'll be arrested again.
