Letter From President Dotson Concerning Officer McKenzie Mattingly

As we are all aware, a police officer's life is not an easy one. This is a most difficult time for McKenzie Mattingly and his family. As a Lodge and as individuals, we will continue to give support to the Mattingly family. Over the past few weeks, they have received financial support as well as calls from many of us including myself. McKenzie has asked that we keep him and his family in our prayers. We must be careful to avoid creating issues that might cause problems for McKenzie and his family, their attorney, and most importantly, his case.In order to offer all of you an opportunity to voice your concerns and thoughts, please be sure to attend the general meeting on Tuesday, March 16, 2004.Thanks to all of you for your cohesiveness, continuing to conduct yourselves in a professional manner, and for ensuring that River City Lodge 614 and its members also receive the respect and honor that is due from all of Metro Louisville,Fraternally,Richard L.
