LETTER FROM THE VICE PRESIDENT

PHOTO

Today begins an exciting journey for us as brothers and sisters of the River City Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge 614. We begin today as the first board of directors of Lodge 614 to be voted in by its members. It gives me great sense of pride to know you have trusted and chosen me as your vice president. As all fo you know, we have a great deal to accomplish over the next two years and I feel, with your support, we will accomplish these things. I know that in a short time you will have a newfound trust and respect in the leadership of the River city Lodge 614.

By voting me in as your vice president you have given me the overwhelming task of assisting in leading Lodge 614 in the right direction. It is now my turn to ask you to get involved. Over the next two years we will be working on improving the image of the FOP to it's members and the public, improving the professionalism of the FOP, and negotiating contract(s), only to list a few. It is only through your input and involvement that we can accomplish these tasks in this period of time. I am excited about working with every one of you and hearing your ideas so that we can move forward quickly.

It is true that each and every one of our members have a career that is unique to all others. It is in doing this that each and every one of you put it all on the line each and every day. Let me assure you that the leadership of this Lodge is dedicated to representing you in a professional manner and protecting your contractual and Constitutional Rights, as well as those afforded to you by State Law.

Please remember this is your Lodge and it is here for you. I look forward to hearing from all of you over the next two years and helping in any manner that I can.
