Retired Louisville Police Officer Frank Habich Sr. passed away at his home on June 14th, 2004. Officer Habich retired in 1977 after 30 years of service as a patrolman in the city's 4th district. Frank is survived by his wife, Sylvia, and 3 children, Frank Jr., Rita and Richard. Visitation will be held Thursday June 17th at Fairdale McDaniels Funeral Home from 11am to 9pm with a F.O.P memorial service at 7pm. The Funeral will be held at St. Gerome Church on Friday June 18th at 11am with procession to follow at Highland Memorial Gardens Cemetary in Mt. Washington.
