I am in agreement...how can anyone see fault in what B. Morgan was attempting to do? If you believe an innocent person in imprisoned, you have the ethical responsibility to let authorities know why you believe such. It does not mean you are interfering with an investigation. To me, failure to speak up when an innocent person could be in jail is borderline corruption.
