LMPD trying to identify officer photographed apparently sleeping in car

You are truly an idiot. I work for LMPD and I DID NOT start my career with LMPD. Nor LPD or JCPD. And I know DOZENS of other fellow officers that did not start with any of the three. Strong heritage? LMPD has only existed for 9 years. So not only are you foolish and grossly misinformed, you're also ridiculously arrogant. "No offense but we don't want leftovers regardless of talent"? You seriously disgust me.

You make it sound like all the folks who started their LE careers here at LMPD are top notch cream of the crop. For every one lateral that could be considered goofy I can think of at least 5 goofy LMPD 'originals'. Coming from someone who has policed outside of Louisville and knows a lot of great cops from other jurisdictions, there is a LOT more to policing than what Jefferson County and LMPD has to offer. Try policing somewhere where on any given night your nearest backup is coming from the next county over. Your verbal skills and tactics had better be up to snuff because if they are not you may not be found until the next day. The main reason I came here was for the better benefits and pay. Don't get me wrong, LMPD has talent but that same talent can be found other places too.
