Riding the beat is for suckers!! I'm glad there are people like you who will always believe it is the best job on the department and makes you the "real" police. My paycheck has never been late and I have not been in a marked cars for a very long time. The closest I want to get in a patrol car is listening to war stories from suckers who love dealing with the public.

All these new people want to be the police but they want jobs where you don't have to police. So people they meet or talk to them think they do real police work but instead want a desk job.
