LMPD Public Integrity Unit is investigating Councilwoman Barbara Shanklin

She is as crooked as Judy Greene was. What I don't know is why the council isn't doing anything about it. I figure as long as she has been in office she knows all the dirt on them and they are afraid of her. She sat on her throne and helped get rid of Greene knowing she was "guilty as sin" of the same thing. GET RID OF HER.

Why anybody would run for any political office is beyond my understanding/ Politics has become a nasty game of gotcha!/ These are all ethics violations, not criminal matters.

Heard we were getting a new DV grant which will require all officers to allow a victim at a domestic violence run an opportunity to talk to an advocate while you are on the scene. Some more sh##t from I wanna be a MAJOR Nunn's office. Wonder whose phone they are going to use? Sure as hel** won't be mine. Also if they don't have access to phone your Sgt has to come to scene so they can use their company phone. Figure it has to do with recanting their stories in court after they find out they can't make it without the suspects dope and money. This job is becoming a social workers job more everyday. What a joke this dept is becoming.

There are 5-6 Lieutenants making 70K a year working in Special Ops. Chavous, Freeburg, Brown, Kessinger, Hardison. Does it take this many Lieutenants to piece together a traffic plan for oaks/derby/Thunder etc?
