it is far more salacious to report on a black man getting "beat" by the police. it has been this way for years. if you can't acknowledge that, you are extremely naive. just compare how long a white on white officer involved shooting is on the news vs. a white on black one. in fact, I would venture to say you cannot think of a high profile case local or nat'l with a white person shot by cops in recent years as an example. But you can readily remember Newby, James Taylor, Rodney King, Amadou Diallo, etc.
