I am going to give you my pager for one week so then you can STFU about how much we do or do not work. I would never think to get on here & bash a certain unit or division. Every section has its own unique needs. And each & every division/unit has the resident lazy guys, but that certainly isn't all encompassing. You're a jacka$$. I work for every penny I earn. Ask somebody who knows what they are talking about. But I think some people will hate on anybody who makes more $ than they do. How awesome it must be to be you.

Traffic gets every detail that comes and off days & shift times change with hours notice. Traffic investigates just as many if not more deaths as homicide but homicide don't make low priority runs while working a case. Traffic has sometimes only one or a couple officers on to work the whole county so if Traffic can't take a low priority run on your beat then there is a reason. You need to look at the big picture. 4 fatal collisions in the past 7 days. That takes about 100+ hours of investigation to complete each case and when charges are filed, you can double that. Traffic is for Dayaks, life threatening collisions and officer involved injury collisions. When not tied up on our responsibility, I will be glad to check the stranded motorist on your beat and any other beat in any of the 8 divisions.
