Yes, it probably is asking for a conflict. However, it is the right thing to do. There is no peer pressure to do the right thing amongst us because we don’t put the pressure there. If you look like a bag of *** then you look like a bag of ***. Somebody should tell you and attempt to make you fix it. Better yet, a SGT should tell you and MAKE you fix it. Being afraid of conflict is not what being a police officer is about, especially if you are a commanding officer. I’m not calling anyone juvenile or saying somebody doesn’t have balls. I’m just saying I don’t want to be compared to the bag of *** next to me because we happen to be wearing the same uniform.
