Just a really wild thought here: Rather than immediately dismiss this person as an overpaid, ego-centrist that will only waste money, why not actually listen to what the person has to say and be open to possible ideas? You're always entitled to your own ideas, and I'm not saying that this person's ideas will be a "quick fix," or even 100% applicable. But why so pessimistic? I'm open to at least hear some ideas. Maybe some might be worth thinking about or implementing.
