I would think not, because those 2 hours are already OT if it exceeded your 8 hour shift. But you never know the thinking of some people. Also will depend on contract language as far as sending people home from a regular schedule shift. Also keep in mind for those who work 10 hour shifts 4X a week, it isn't OT unless you exceed the 10.
