Simple, don't answer the phone. 1) you are required to have a phone so the department can get in touch with you for departmental business (emergencies, why are you late etc). By their own policy court isn't departmental business since you can't put that little pass on your dashboard to park at a meter while at court. 2)If you use your personal phone to discuss the case you are opening up your phone records to scrutiny like a notebook. Don't think it will happen?? Remember how liberal this county is.3)This will eventually be used to cut out court pay ( bet the reason is no one told you had to answer the phone).
