I wonder how long it will be before the bosses in the 4th do a news release to say how much crime is down due to their efforts. Just like loosing Iroquois Homes and saying how much it dropped due to their efforts.

Crime displacement is all that was. Newburg is the new projects...

Funny how these buildings have "out lived there usefulness".... So has Police HQ, All 8 police division, all LFD stations and EMS..... along with health dept, everything at Barrett Ave but we are stuck there everyday!... UGH!

I guarantee that LMPD uses the new found 'reduction' of crime in that area to report to the FBI!!!

Why is the a plain crown vic with a KY personlized plate and a bazillion red and blue light working the I-65 project. He has illegal lights and taking JOBS FROM LMPD OFFICERS..SCAB SCAB SCAB SCAB SCAB!!!

I am very disappointed concerning the officers being forced to ride in two man cars. This is a bad idea for a multitude of reasons that you should already understand. The bad far outweighs the good. You can spray all the 'febreeze' you want on a bad idea but it still stinks. The two man cars is completely due to Abramson not budgeting money for any new police cars for 2 years prior to leaving to corrupt the state, and Fischer not having any money and trying to pick up the pieces from King Jerry's mess. PERIOD.

LMPD officers' hope that Chief Conrad will be able to improve things will quickly fade away if things continue down the same road without change.

Many of us have decided that if things don't start to get better soon, there are other places to work. We do not want to leave, however family and emotional health comes first. When you go to work everyday more concerned about how many ways your dept may stab you in the back, instead of worrying about getting killed - things are bad and taxpayers suffer for it too.

Just my 2 cents for the month. I don't get on here very much due to the trolling. Please take care of each other. I have to go shine up my hat for yvette.

I encourage any detective or officer outside the th division to listen to ch.1 on mid-watch to hear all the stacked runs or even how the dispatchers are confused about what car to send to calls for service. It has been a nightmare for the last week. I can tell you personally about how a solo car has to take all the report runs stacked and a taxpayer gets home from work to report a break in and takes an hour and half to respond because the solo car is tied up at walmart on cite & release shoplifter at walmart.What a mess. Please help chief I also had high hopes but now I dont....

Newburg, Westport & accomack, Norfolk, Valley Station, shively, PRP, klondike / hikes point areas,Buechel, mid-dale lane.....ALL have turned ghetto after tearing down the projects. Crime in these areas have increased ten-fold ...Got to love merger also :(
