...and lest not forget the officer who insists on having the air conditioner on almost year round. And the officer who selfishly wants to listen to talk radio for the entire shift. And the officer who simply will not allow a moment of silence because they are ADHD and feel like they must constantly be talking. BTW, dipping is a disgusting habit and it makes your breath smell like deer anus. These people will leave their bottles anywhere they please as if you don't mind looking at their mouth gook.

That's where I think it would serve best to make it a limited engagement... If there are only two or three per platoon then the lazy officer can get weeded out as well as the ones that are impossible to coexist with. People that want to do it will strive to make it work. Those that don't won't and it will show and they will not be assigned to it.
