Years ago, my beat partners and I would often jump into a car together, unbeknownst to our supervisors, and had a lot of proactive responses to some of the most crime ridden areas of the city. We had fun, we learned to rely on each other, and we became friends for life. Someone mentions Major Burbrink's 30 year experience. That speaks for itself.
