oil lasts longer than you think, but the filter won't effectively get more than 4,000 miles on it without the possibility of clogging up. clogged filters starve the engine of lubricating oil and destroy it. waiting for over a month to be scheduled for an oil change is nuts. wonder how much money we are gonna waste on engines in the next couple of years........
